Sample Set Curation with Follow-Up
Meet a few formulas quietly, before committing to any of them
Six 5ml samples chosen for your concerns, a two-week window to notice how your skin responds, and a formulator reading the results with you afterward.
Back to homeWhat this set offers
Six 5ml samples selected against the concerns and sensitivities you describe, spanning cleansers, serums, creams, and oils — enough to feel real differences in texture without committing to a full-size bottle.
At the end of the trial, a formulator reviews your notes and tells you plainly which textures suited you and which didn't.
The trouble with buying blind
A full-size cream is a meaningful commitment when you don't yet know how it will feel on your skin — whether it will sit too heavy, or leave things feeling tight, or simply not suit your current sensitivity. Photographs and descriptions can only tell you so much.
Trying a small amount first removes that guesswork, and a follow-up conversation makes the trial genuinely useful rather than just exploratory.
How the curation works
Tell us about your skin's concerns and any known sensitivities through the form, and we'll select six 5ml samples that make sense together — not simply six best-sellers. The set arrives with a patch-test card and a two-week observation sheet to track how each one feels.
Once your two weeks are up, send the completed sheet back and a formulator will reply with a short, specific note on what to consider next.
What the experience feels like
A short note on your concerns, so the six samples are chosen with intention.
Two unhurried weeks patch-testing and noting how each sample feels.
A formulator's written reply on which textures suited you and which didn't.
What's covered in a set
Samples are drawn from across our range, from fluid to balm, so you can feel where your skin sits most comfortably.
The investment
¥1,900
per curated set of six 5ml samples
- Six samples chosen for your concerns
- A patch-test card and observation sheet
- A formulator's written follow-up review
- Postage within Japan included
How the follow-up review works
The two-week window is chosen because most comfort or discomfort responses to a new formula show up within that time. Your observation sheet notes texture, tightness, and any congestion day by day, giving the formulator something concrete to review rather than a general impression.
Expect a specific, written answer — not a generic recommendation — once the two weeks are complete.
If nothing quite fits
Not every sample will suit every person, and that's exactly what the trial is for. If nothing in your set feels right, tell us — we're glad to talk through what your notes suggest and where to look next.
There's no obligation to order full-size products afterward.
Patch-test checklist
- Apply a small amount to the inner forearm.
- Wait 24 to 48 hours before wider use.
- Watch for redness, itching, or discomfort.
- Note the result on your observation sheet before moving to the next sample.
This checklist supports comfort testing only and does not replace advice from a dermatologist.
